Talked through what happens on the day, asked if I had any questions, had bloods done , saw anaesthetist, checked consent form filled in. I was also asked if I had any special requests, and was specifically asked what I wanted them to do with my placenta !

Is that on the day or before I've to go in tomorrow but ELCS not till Thursday.

weight, bloods, bp, aneathetist chat, forms etc nothing special (if its on the day like mine th mw will also check if your shave job was good enough to avoid a dry bic!!)
If it's before you also get the antacids to take the night before the op.

They'll probably measure your legs for anti-DVT socks too.

Had mine today nothing exciting checked bp, urine, bloods, babies hb and gave me consent forms to be done on the day. Mine also included another conflicting set of advice about what will happen on the day que more rage from me and more confusion. Also got a shouting at from the mw for questioning the way things are done. Why they can't just let you speak to the people who will actually be there is a mystery to me.

I've arranged to have a private mwife at mine (Monday) the NHS mwives rate him and I get the feeling they think they would like him to straighten me out if I get stroppy ;)
He should also be at the birth.

I was also told not to shave apparently a change in policy due to infections through nics in skin if you shave yourself.
