Hi

I am current 34+4 last night I started getting BH around 11 weren't very painful but were there plus back ache. I went up to bed and was woken around 3am with what I can only describe as a mixture of back ache period pain and very strong BH which were around 5 mins apart. Downstairs was painful too.....and very wet. I sat on the edge of the bed timing the BH and it felt as if I was leaking? Anyway that last around 2 hours of me walking around sitting on the loo etc and I managed to drop off again, then to be woken up again this morning at 6 with period pain, back ache and the runs.....it's not watery just very loose.

Can anyone help? I don't fancy another trip to the hospital......feel like I live there and have been LOADS!! :(

Call the hospital and speak to the midwife ASAP, if you have leaking waters they will want to know, sometimes they want you in and other times they will monitor you from home. Don not leave it any longer call NOW! You won't be bothering them at all, they would want to know. No need to panic but call them and update us please!

i've called the hospital. They have told me to monitor myself today and if the tightenings come bk to give them a call. I've been told to put a pad on today and see how it goes.....
MW seems to think the pain was caused by the dhiarhea....

not too sure whats going on will up date through out the day as daren't leave the house today!

Poor you. I've seen several of your posts over the past few weeks - you've been through it a bit haven't you?!

If you feel unhappy for any reason, just go in. I know you feel like you live there and I know you hate being a 'nuisance' but better that than wishing you'd gone in when it's too late.

Keep us updated.

They sound a bit lax tbh, you could have a leak of your waters, you could be in early labour.

I think you should try and go in and at least ask them to check for amniotic fluid, and monitor you for a few minutes to see if you're having contractions.

It might set your mind at rest. I hope you are Ok x

also if you do get tightenings again, time them, how long they last and how long in between.

If you go in prepared with as much info as you can manage, they'll be more inclined to take you seriously.

Thanks ladies I just feel like crying :( I've seriously had enough now. I've done everything right in this pregnancy and seem to have all the problems under the sun. Then I see these girls who smoke drink etc with perfect babies and pregnancies. X

You poor tired thing! I remember getting to about 34-36 weeks and thinking 'this is it - I cannot go on, enough is bloody well enough' and funnily after that point, things didn't actually get any worse. Thank God.

I remember having a good sob though both times around 8 months. It feels interminable.
