Help needed slow labour

unusual one 40+3 and third pregnancy. Started with contractions at 930 last night every 15 minutes which went to every 5 at 1130 but through the night tailored off so anything between 5 and 20 minutes apart no regularity at all. No show and waters still intact not used to this as ds1 was induced and ds2 was waters went and then into established labour! Bit tired too as i was admitted with a suspected PE and only came home yesterday afternoon. Please give me any advice ladies?

Relax and rest as much as possible. Conserve your energy!
Chances are when you get going it'll be quick.

Hope all was ok. My labour with my daughter was 70 hours from start to finish (waters never went, they broke them in the last couple hours) and early on the gap between contractions did keep varying, things sometimes do just happen slowly. Hope you're birth went ok x
