I am 35+4 with baby #4 and have been having braxton hicks galore for many weeks really strongly and sometimes regular and uncomfortable. For the last few days Ive been having period pains and shooting pains.. Im feeling alot further along than i am.
My other 3 were born at 39+5, 40+2 ans 40+5, so im expecting another on time baby, but wondered if its likely i might go early?
Many thanks x

Not sure if it helps but I had 2 "late" babies, dd1 was a week late, was induced with dd2, just over a week late. Dd3 was born 1 day early, really thought I was going to be hanging on for ages, to the point that I didn't quite believe I was in labour, eventually was persuaded to go to the hospital, was 7.5 cms when I got there, she made an appearance a few hours later!!! Good luck.

Only had 3, but #1 was 12 days overdue, #2 was 8 days overdue but #3 came 2 days early. Had really expected to be a week overdue with the last one so was a nice surprise!

Mine have all been 40+5, really interested to see if number 4 will be the same. I spoke to the midwife and she said she would be surprised if it wasn't, will have to just wait and see, i am only 27 weeks now.

I too am paranoid about this issue - I was 12 days late (in the end..) with no 1, 5 days late with no.2 and am now 37+3 with no. 3 and unable to decide on banking on her being late or worrying it could be any day now!! I guess the chances are she won't be too early.
