Back to hospital on Thursday to see if baby is still breech if she is I have to decide if I want an ECV. I'm hopeful all the acupuncture, kneeling and froozen peas will have paid off and the top of my bump doesnt feel as hard as it did but would be good to hear other people experiences before deciding in case in hasnt worked.

Thanks I'm all booked and ready to go but now having second thoughts I'll call Monday and double check about the not eating etc. I really wanted my planned birth but am now pretty convinced this baby is going no where, plus as my mother keeps reminding me she'll probably be late so ELCS would mean an extra 2/3 weeks with her!

How did it go?

scaryfairy28 · 07/05/2011 16:44

Wasn't successful no where near as painful as I thought it would be though! I knew she wasn't going anywhere though!

Oh I'm sorry about that.

At least you can plan for a nice calm ELCS now and you'll know when baby is arriving.

Yeah I have my plan just hope I get some of my wishes followed some opinions seems to be that my hospital does CS in a very. Baby removed and not given back till recovery, taken out the room to be checked etc, the thought of which is terrifying me as it could be further from what I thought was going to be happening in the midwife unit down the corridor!!

I know it's really hard but your baby, your rules. Your partner might need to be really tough to communicate what you want. Hope it goes well.
