Hi - I'm 40 +3 so happy to try anything at this stage!! Apart from the usual tips, spicy food, walk, sex etc... I have been advised to use Clary Sage. I got some from Holland & Barrett but am now unsure about using it or how to use it - Anyone with tips, experience of using Clary Sage??

As far as I'm aware you can add a couple drops to a carrier oil (almond or even olive if it's all you have!) and massage it into your bump and lower back. Have used it before & it caused some hellish braxton hicks but sadly nothing regular enough to call labour! And it honked to high heaven though some people love the smell.

Think you can add it to the bath...but sure there's something about adding milk as well (pregnancy brain kicking in so can't remember - sorry).

good luck & let us know if it works for you!

Thanks ladies - went with the adding it to bath option, luckily there was instructions with it - I didn't mind the smell and relaxed well but it hasn't done anything! oh well.... Just keep waiting as I've come to the conclusion she will def come on her terms!!
