Waxing over perineal scar

I know this sounds rather superficial but can you wax over scars on the perineum? I had a full restitch of a 3a tear back in august but have thus far only managed a "Californian" wax. Is 8months on okay to have a "Brazilian"? I have horrendous thoughts of ripping off tissue or something but I HATE hair there and ahem, well, I have a new man...!

Can you ask your beautician? Waxing the bikini etc area can be problematic in parts because the lack of support for the tissue, if you get me....Sometimes it is hard to do this sort of waxing without getting very up close and personal, but you know that! Ask her, she will tell you if she feels its risky!

FWIW I was ok waxing over my cs scar after 2 months. It probably wasn't my best idea as it was still sore Blush but it didn't do any harm.

first1 - I have no answers for you, but your question has brought a big smile to my face, as it means you must be feeling SO MUCH BETTER!!!! Grin And if you have healed, then there is hope for me too! XXX

Carda - awww bless you you WILL get better!! I'm still applying fucibet cream to the scar (from the consultant). And sex is still painful but I think that's more from the rectocele repair not perineum. I'm proud of you Hun you're so strong!

Thank you to everyone else too for the advice! I have booked an appt for a wax tomorrow but will ask beauticians advice first.
