Hi,
I have my msra swabs booked and then the day or so before a pre op.
Anyone tell me what these involve?

Thanks ;)

Had mine on fri.

Mrsa- stick a cotton bid up your nose and wiggle it about. Easy but weird
Blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, baby's heart beat and position all checked. Go through check list of things you might have done thy may affect op- like drugs, drink etc.
They let you ask any questions and give out any mess you might need to take the night before.
They also take a blood sample but Im having mine done on the day as my pre-op had been scheduled too far from elcs date.

It was pretty straight forward and I didnt mind dh having to stay home to look after ds while I went.

Oh and they want a wee sample as well which I didnt know before so make sure you've had enough to drink/ don't go to loo ebb you get there!
