How many c section scars do you have?

Just wondering as I've had 2 c sections and have 2 different scars. Read on another thread that quite a few people only have 1 scar because the surgeon cut into the previous scar site.

Just checking I'm not a weirdo.

1 with 2 sections

I think I've got 2 too, puff (it's hard to see under the balcony!) - from 4 CSs - they kind of merge into each other.

I've got one from two sections, but the one from the first one is longer at each end than the one from the second one iyswim. Think ds was harder to get out than dd!

It sounds as if it's common to go into the first site when having a second section. Just wondering why this wasn't the case with me - I know they were in a panic though.

Jan - 4 c sections? Respect!

It seemed like a good idea at the time, puff

Anyway none of mine were emergencies, I never even went into labour, and that kind isn't so bad.

(There is an occasional MNer called zipper who has had SIX )

they wouldn't be able to go through old scar tissue in an emergency because it takes too long .. think they can only do it when they've got time to deal with the old scar tissue

hth

Thanks twig - I thought that might be the case.

one scar with 2 sections - second time they cut slightly above and actually cut out the other scar tissue - shame they didn't take the tummy tuck firther
