cervical balloon ripening...has anyone had this? how was it and outcome?

booked for this as 42 weeks this week if nothing has happened... and section if unsuccessful.
lscs for no 1, 3 svd s with 2 home dels for next 3 and now.......oh well, that's why sometimes a good idea to not set plans in stone and glad that we haven't!

I haven't but do you have links to any decent info? I didn't dilate with DD after IoL and ended up with CS. DH and I were frantically trying to look up options on our phones while in hospital and came across this, but our hospital didn't offer it. Having had a CS, my options for IoL in the future are really limited and as I had OC and PE, it's likely I'll need to deliver preterm again with future DCs, so I'd love to know more.
