Bleeding from stitches?

I had stitches following the birth of DD3 4 days ago (after epistomy) and today they are the sorest they have been, it's a stinging pain and it's sore to sit on, I have also noticed some bright red blood from that area once or twice when I went to the loo, not much blood but it's definitely different from the normal bleed I am having, should I get it checked out?

I would. If your midwife is still visiting I would ask her to check, you may have burst a couple of stitches.

Get them checked or describe the symptoms to your go over the phone -I had this and it turned out they were slightly infected - got antibiotics which sorted things out ( could still bf)
