My knee disslocated 5 yrs ago whilst at work I then found out I was pregnant with DS (who is now 5yrs old!) its been playing up these last few weeks and worried it might pop out again?! Also my back hurts a bit as a white van man went into the back of my car last week and jolted my back (had to go to hospital for mont) he also drove off what a ass hole! When the MW was checking to see if I was dilated I could not flop my right leg very well due to the old disslocated knee. I explianed she said she was sorry I said how were you supposed to know! He he. Im worried about it popping out during labour with my DS I stayed on the bed and had a epidural so there was no need to move about as it was very saw still! Smile OOww just started to have contractions hope they come frequent need to pick my son up from school!! Oh poo.....

Can you be referred for some physio? I have really lax joints and dislocated my right knee umpteen times before I had some surgery. Straight leg raises in the meantime would strengthen your quads.
Good luck with the birth. I am assuming it's iminent.

Thanks for that I have been doing excercises to make my knee better. Its just weird after 5 yrs! its come back to make me feel so un certain about it. Must be the pregnancy and extra weight maybe the chemical that makes you ligamnets relax? Who knows its not nice. I feel sorry for you I have heard about repeat disslocations. There was one woman on a forum ages ago and she disslocated one knee cap on the way down some stairs and then the other one popped out!! I mean jeeees. That must of hurt. Both kneecaps!! good greif. I had contractions they went there back now!! ooowww
