Tightening pains at top of bump - anyone else had these?

Due date is this Friday. Been niggly and twingey the last week and although was intially excited that something was starting, am now thinking its just late pregnancy niggles/pre labour pains

However, I seem to be getting quite a lot of twinges at the top of my bump - not regular or anything so not contractions, but just wondering if could be the start of something?

TIA

Puss

Hello!

I'm also due this friday!

I've had braxton hicks since about 20 weeks, which usually originate at the top of my bump. So it could be those.

I've found the BHs have seriously increased in frequency and strength over the last 2 weeks. They've also become quite regular in occurrance, i.e. they seem to start (by which I mean, come every 5-10 mins, as opposed to randomly) sometime in the afternoon and go on till about 11pm. And then stop. And then only bother me whenever I roll over/get up to wee in the night!

So, I don't know if it could be the start for you.

Despite this going on for ages for me, I still get a little bit excited every evening, and then wake up disappointed that nothing's happened!

Good luck! x

I have the same thing - only bothering me when I get up in night/roll over!

DH is getting fed up with me analysing each twinge and tweak but I can't help it! I want the baby out now!

Good luck for you as well - exciting isn't it Smile
