sweep, show, cramps, 2cm dilated, when oh when am i going into labour?

Had a sweep on friday where the DR said my cervix was effaced, soft and 2cm dilated already.

Over the weekend I have been loosing my plug and having a mucas like show.

Have also been having cramps in lower abdomen.

Please say this means labour is coming soon, I am 39+6 with first baby!

Nothing happening yet, got another sweep booked for tomorrow so fingers crossed that might do the trick.

Come on baby, come meet your mum and dad! This waiting period is definitely the worst part of pregnancy for me.

Hi there, I also had a sweep on Friday, 1cm dilated and could stretch cervix, bishops score of 6, show on Saturday and .... Nothing yet. I feel your pain My next sweep is booked for this Friday, good luck tomorrow!

Hi, just to let you know that I had another sweep on 22nd which did the trick, went into labour at about 7pm and delivered by 12 midnight! Beautiful little boy, Francis!
