Membrane sweep

Hi everyone just looking for a wee bit of help. I'm 39+4 with DC2 and MW did a sweep this AM (standard practice here for subsequent babies). I'm 2cm dilated, mid position cervix and she reckoned it was a favourable sweep.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this means as I was induced with pre-eclampsia with DS.
Does it mean I'll be in 'real' labour soon?
Sorry for bad paragraphs am on iPhone :)

I am no expert but I think that you can be a few cm dilated with second baby and be a while away from labour? I am sure someone more knowledgeable will be along in a minute!

My MW told me something similar when I had a sweep at 41 weeks. Nothing happened for me (not even twinges) so I was induced at 40+12. Hopefully it'll will work for you Smile.
