Have my waters just broke?

I have been having contractions on and off for a few days and weeks before this. I have just been for what I thought was a wee. Sorry if this is TMI. So I go for a wee then it wont stop and there ia lots coming out. I only wee in small amounts as im sure you ladies will know!! It feels like your baldder is full but then its a little wee. This would not stop. I looked at the fluid and it seems clear. (hard to tell with blue toliet freshner in there!!) but it was not a yellow colour really clear. Could not smell anything. Not getting any pains now and feel like there is no pressure under my tummy (top of pubic bone). This is weird!! My hind waters broke in the last pregnancy whilst in labour then they had to break my waters. Does anyone have the same?

Sorry Im 36 weeks going into 37 weeks pregnant.

I would put a pad on and see if you leak onto it anymore, you can examine it better off a pad

Sounds like it but you should phone your midwife or hospital now to ask.

I was told that it was Ok for 24 hours after they had broken, but that was when I was 41 weeks and I had an independant midwife who was relaxed and I had had no pains.

Thanks I have put a pad on and we will see I guess. I have no pain now and feel like some pressure has been lifted! So thats nice for now......

Sounds like they have, if you are soaking a pad that is prob your waters! Mine broke whilst I was shopping... thought I was losing control of my bladder!

Thanks you guys nothing more has happened really. I dont know if I was just weeing. It did seem clear and not yelllow/golden tinged so Im not sure. Nothing else has happened. Will see the midiwfe tomorrow! Thanks

Personally I'd phone today just to talk it through, it may be wee but it's best to check!

Always best to check as I thought mine was wee! 24 hrs later, I was in early stages of labour. :)

If it smells like semen your waters have broken.
