Yes I had a bad cold when I went into labour. Totally forgot about the cold in the excitment till about 3 days later. Obviously I felt rubbish after the birth but then I'd been up all night so not sure how much was to do with the cold.
But I didn't go into labour till 42 weeks so you might have plenty of time yet!

Don't want to scaremonger, but my baby caught my cold off me and ended up in hospital with an upper respiratory tract infection at 4/5 days old, so if you do give birth soon, keep your little one snug and warm and just keep an eye on them x

I did (winter baby) but forgot about the cold during labour. Im sure you will have got rid of it by the time the baby is born :)

that's interesting about the baby catching the cold - CalmInsomniac. Were you breastfeeding? i thought that the antibodies in the breast milk i ment to help prevent any infections from the mother, but maybe that's not what happens in real life!
