Hey can some one in the know please explain to me what a spontaneous delivery is?

Because on both my lots of paper work from both DDs it has it written, infact, one says "beautiful SVD"

is this because I just did what my body made me and i didnt really have any input from the MWs because they were standing on the other side of the room telling eachother I was only 3cm when I had DD2

No induction, no interventions needed.

so does the spontanious bit refer to going into labour, or delivering / pushing the baby out

Any vaginal birth that is not 'assisted' by ventouse or forceps is a 'spontaneous vaginal birth' ie: it happened on its 'own' (with mother efforts of course!). This can be a result of a spontaneous, induced or augmented labour.
