Reason for EMCS

We decorated our room recently, and I found DS's birth notes. I had an EMCS after getting to 10cms, it was all a bit of a blur at the end.
The room suddenly filled with people, and I was taken to theatre.
DS was fine, but re-reading the notes, it says reason for EMCS- trace:pathological.

This was 3 years ago, but it was pretty traumatic at the time, and I didn't really think to ask at the time what it meant, I was just very grateful for our healthy DS.
Does anyone know what it means?
Thanks

Babe was not happy and his heartrate was dropping abnormally.
