DC2, contractions about 4 mins apart, 1 min duration.

They are getting decidedly uncomfortable. MW was here an hour ago (planned homebirth) - I'm only just effacing! Waters intact.

MW said call back when it's really painful, but I don't know how painful she means.

Anyone got any top tips?

Ooh good luck. Just call the midwife when you feel ready. Maybe go for a little walk or just walk up and down the stairs a bit! Where is dc1?

Crab walking up and down the stairs has been recommended on here a few times - just means walking sideways I think.

ooh good luck! you'll know when they are painful! try to rest between contractions if you can but keep mnetting
