Does everyone have a "show"?

I'm 39 weeks and should really be able to remember this as it's my 3rd pregnancy but I really can't remember ever having a show. I certainly know that my waters have never broken prior to active labour but I'm on constant knicker-checking now - the niggles are telling me that labour's round the corner but the lack of show is saying that I could have quite a few days left. Anyone?

Hi there, i've had 3 labours, and the last two i remember just shortly before i started pushing, i'd go to the loo and find a bloody show in my knickers - prior to that i'd just had very heavy discharge in days leading up to the delivery.

So had i not gone to the loo, i wouldn't have noticed the show either.

I didn't have a show, and my waters went early before labour.

Well I didn't notice a show but that's not to say I didn't miss it!

Nope - just had trickles when waters went.

I had a belgian bun earlier. Funnily enough I seem to have gone off them now

Last time I had a definite show - it was about the size of a plum and looked like a giant bogie streaked with blood. Yuck! That was at about 39 weeks but I didn't go into labour - had to be induced at 42 weeks.

This time, I think I think I may have been losing it in little bits over the last week, but I'm not sure.

2 labours, never had a 'show'

No show with DS. Waters broke (spectacularly) and he was born within 24 hours.

Show with DD about a week before she was born. Waters broken during labour.

not with dc3, until well into established labour

No show with DS waters broke before onset of labour.
DD huge show.

never had one either, waters didnt go til later in labours either don't know if that has anything to do with it??

i started having my show an hour before i went into labour and i had it right through to the end 34 hrs, i thought something was wrong cus obviously its blood but the mw told me it was normal lol
