Water birth or not?

Need some advice and info for water births. I've heard it takes some of the pain away and is more comfortable.. But not really too sure. Any information?

I had a water birth. I used TENS machine until I got into water. This is my first birth experience so there is not much to compare to. I really liked the feel of water. Water also provides some privacy. The thought of laying with my legs open and all the MWs wondering in there is just awful to me. Also with water birth the MW are very hands off and I was the first person to touch my baby when I lifted her out the water. My experience was not pain free but it was great especially the finale. If I have another birth in the future I would plan to do another water birth. Good luck making your choice :)

Very similar to Babynelly. You can always get out if you decide it's not for you.
