Massive show on due date, but nothing else happening.

I have a sweep yesterday on my due date, mw said only 1cm dialated, she thught I would have been around 2-3 cm as its my 3rd dc. ad the sweep in the morning and the show around 5pm, thought i was going straight into labour as with dc2 had show at 5pm and was in full labour by 6pm, so couldnt sleep for waiting for it to happen! but not so much as a twinge :( The show its self was massive! 2 inches of (tmi! sorry!) blood in mucus in almost T shape, I know you can have a show 2 weeks before labour, but I thought because of how fast dc2 was, history would have repeated its self :( also am slightly worried as I'm still passing little bits of blood stained mucus, every time I go to the loo and am having to wear a sainitry towel. How long will it last?

I don't think anyone can say. Just didn't want you to go unanswered I was two weeks, two days overdue.My labour started at midnight, stopped at 8am, started again at midnight, stopped at 8am, started again at 4pm and baby arrived at 10pm - ish. They are all different - my friend has 6 DC and each labour has had something different. Hope it goes quickly

Could the mucus stuff have been the plug? Good luck hopefully you've had the baby by now xx

I had my show on the Friday morning (I was due the following Monday), first contractions at midnight Friday and DD born 6am Sunday. BringOn is right, I think everyone is totally different, but I have my fingers crossed that something is starting to happen/has happened for you! Good luck
