Stirling Royal Infirmary - anyone know it?

I'm 19 weeks pregnant, have just moved house and am trying to decide whether to change the hospital I'm booked into for the birth. I'm currently due to go into the new Royal Infirmary at Edinburgh but am considering changing to either St John's at Livingston or Stirling Royal Infirmary. I know a bit about St John's - sil had her dd there last year - but nothing at all about Stirling. Does anyone know anything about it either personally or by hearsay. I don't really know anyone where I live yet to ask and even if I did they would propbably have gone to Falkirk, which as luck would have it, closed their birth unit at the end of July.
Thanks

Stirling a very good unit(have worked there).Has recently amalgamated with Falkirk to increase size and staffing. Would happily have my baby there. Very friendly yet good standard of care. Lovely midwives. Don't know the others sorry. Which is nearer? Why don't you visit the ones you don't know and see if that helps you decide.

Thanks for that cryingwean. I think St John's is (marginally) nearer but baby is due in February and the road to Livingston is not the best whilst Stirling is motorway all the way. I have my first appointment with the midwives here next week so I'll discuss it with them and also try to visit Stirling to see what it's like.
