can headache signal imminent labour?

[clutching at straws emoticon] Am running out of time as induction booked tomorrow eve (due date) and hoping things will start themselves beforehand.

Have had a nasty headache for past couple of days. Not pre ec as bp is fine. Keep trying to tell myself it could be the start of things in my body changing ready for labour (bit like when I get headaches for a couple of days before I get period).

Anyone experienced/heard of headache just before labour?? [hopeful emoticon]

even though your BP is fine - has your urine been tested - any protein? any visual disturbances? and facial oedema?
If so - get it checked out.

Have been been drinking enough - most common form of headache in pregnancy is dehydration.

...if none of these - fingers crossed its labour starting.
There are lots of hormonal changes just before labour starts, so it could be the way your body is affected by them

What is your BP in compasiron to BP at beginning of pregnancy?
I had undiagnosed PE as my BP was never what the HCP's would call high, however it was high for me, mine's usualy very low.
Had some swelling on my hands but nowhere else, never had any proteinurea untill I had an eclamptic seizure!
Do get thoroughly checked over tomorrow before they start you off. If your BP lowere number is at or nearly 15 more than it was at your booking appt that needs carefull attention.
