I'm 35 weeks and looking for a trainee doula who would be available to attend a VBAC at the Royal Free at the end of March/ beginning of April.
I had a doula for my first birth and found it to be fantastic, notwithstanding it ended with an EMCS! This time round we're not cashed up enough to pay for a fully qualified doula, but my experience from last time is that another person there encouraging and supporting both me and DH would be invaluable- and hopefully we'll be helping someone get one step closer to their full qualification as well.
Any suggestions/recommendations gratefully received! I have searched the doula.org website but can't seem to find any trainees in my area (it may just be me, not the site...). Thanks!
