I was just wondering, does having a bath everynight (say) help speed up baby arriving before due date.?? Just like with your period??

Due next week and just wonder if this was helping or not?

Don't really care as it helps me sleep and is good for the old hip pains...just a question

Don't think so but clary sage oil is suppose to bring on labour.

I know someone who used it in her bath when she was 33 weeks and she went into labour with her twins 3 days later, she didn't know she shouldn't use it in pregnancy.

does having a bath bring on your period then? I didn't know that Hmm. I've been having at least one bath a day for well over a month (now 39 + 4) and no baby yet.

No.

No it won't, nor will clary sage send you into labour unless your body was ready anyway.

crap twins would be about ready at 33 wks anyway.

Clary sage is quite potent though and should be used with caution and not until after 37wks as it can cause strong bh that may irritate the uterus.

Drop of lavender in your bath may help with relaxation if you are having trouble sleeping.
