Headaches after c-section?

Hi, I had my little boy by c-section on the 5th of Feb and for the last few days I have been getting horrid recurrant headaches.

The dr did mention there was a possibility of getting headaches after the epidural, but I'm not sure how long they're supposed to last. Sometimes they are just very mild, or like this morning my head feels like it will explode!

Has anyone else suffered like this? If so, how long did they last?

I had them for a few days after getting home so up to day 10 ish? Have you tried drinking coke? Was like a miracle cure for me. Recommended by a MW

Funnily enough I have a coke right here (first since before the birth), will give that cure a go!

Any better?

Is it worse when you stand up? It could be a headache caused by the epidural (but could also be tiredness, hormones etc..). I would mention it to your midwife or GP if no longer under midwife care and they will prob arrange a consult with your anesthetist. I had a severe one but it resolved over 5 days without any intervention.
