after pains...

How long do they go on for. Now with my third I thought they would be more painful than my second but lucklily they aren't quite as bad. They are however neverending it seems. Happen even when I'm not breastfeeding, just every 10 minutes or so...

I know I shouldn't complain they are doing good after all, but would like to know there's an end to it, Wink

With my 2nd they last about 2 weeks i think,maybe odd pain a little after.How old is your dc?

Thanks! DD1 is just 2 days old, but was told in hospital after pains last 2-3. Can clearly remember them lasting at least over a week with DS2 so not buying that one.
pinkyp 2 weeks sounds about right
