God yes, my sheets were SOAKED, it was awful, had to sleep on a towel. I woke up and had sopping wet hair.

Apparently it's your body getting rid of excess fluid. Don't worry, it will pass soon. Try the towel on the bed and change the sheets often. It will pass.

Congratulations on your new baby :)

I think the sweats are normal, but as for the aching and shivering, could you maybe have a cold or infection too? Maybe worth mentioning to HV or something if you're feeling under the weather again later. But otherwise I do think sweats are pretty normal. I was cold because I was so drenched, but not shivering, if you see what I mean

I was very sweaty at nights and my fingers and feet had been puffy and then one morning I just woke up and they were normal again! All the fluid coming out.

I was also shivery though and the doctor gave me antibiotics for that so I would go and see someone as that might be an infection.
