SIL had emergency homebirth!!!

she's given birth to a baby girl this morning. they had no time to go to hospital and when MIL rang she had three paramedics with her and the midwife on her way. they're not sure if they actually have to go to hospital now. they are all well. BIL had to assist with delivering the baby!!!
she originally wanted a homebirth, but thought it better to go to hospital.

well, anyway, i'm excited as i am an auntie again

i don't know more than that! i'm waiting for MIL to ring with more news! she was due on the 14th and it's her second child.

Congratulations! Its a wonderful feeling! I had unassisted homebirth in march and DH delivered DD2. Hope family are doing well!

SIL's baby is gorgeous! they've decided on naming her rebecca. there's a picture here of me with rebecca and one here of DD with her.

Congrats! I wont bore you to death with the story but had an unassisted homebirth last October with ds2 (dh was in the bedroom trying to put his trousers on!) Got a nice new bathroom carpet tho!
