How did you feel just before you went into labour?

I know that sounds like a stupid question, but I'll explain.

I am due today with my 2nd DC and I'm feeling spectacularly under the weather. Had dodgy tummy yesterday and today, I feel sick, panicky and a bit shakey for no apparent reason and just generally feel out of sorts.

I am trying to decide whether feeling like this could be a pre-curser to labour, of if I have just been unlucky enough to pick up a virus. Whatever it is I am now dreading going into labour as I'm not sure how I'd cope feeling this rubbish.

I had DD 6 yrs ago and can't really remember exactly how I felt before labour started, but I'm fairly sure I didn't feel like this.

If anyone can share their experiences it will be much appreciated.

Yup, same here! I had the squits (sorry) for a few days. DIdn't feel too rough though. Then DS arrived after a 45min labour!

Good luck! How exciting!!! Grin

Oooh I like the 45 minute labour thing, I'll live with feeling rough if I can sign up for that!
