Hi,
I am having my second baby in July. My 1st was born by emergency CS after failed induction. I will be hoping to have an elective CS this time based on the horrific time we went through previously. My baby was born at Solihull, care was brilliant, but I can't have an elective CS at Solihull since it became Midwife Led.
Does anyone have any experiance of Heartlands or Good Hope as I have no idea which to opt for. Have been told that I am out of the catchment for the Womens Hospital which would have been my 1st choice as I know women who had great experiances there - but know no one who has given birth at GH or Heartlands...
Any experainces would be wondefful to hear please good or bad.
I had an amnio at Heartlands with my 1st pregnancy and found it dirty and unpleasent - but the staff who conducted the amnio were very nice- but I was only there for 2 hours.
Please please tell me your stories to help me make a decision. (My midwife is pushing me to Heartlands, but that seems to be more out of conveniance to her paperwork wise.)

Why not visit each hospital for a tour? I've heard good and bad reports of both (tho no personal experience - sorry).
