30 day shred gets rave reviews on here.

my copy is still in its celophane.

How old is your baby? Did you have a VB or CS and are you well healed yet? You need to watch that you don't do too much too soon with your stomach muscles, it can really bugger them up.

It can be hard to find the right topic sometimes, there are so many: Sport & Exercise topic.

I've heard a lot of good things about the 30 day shred too (would love a copy), but I wonder if it wouldn't be way to aggressive as postnatal exercise.

My DD is nearly 13 weeks old. i had a very speedy normal VB, tore but healed very quickly and well.

I only want to tone my legs, bum and tum. im naturally slim but just feel a bit flabby... would rather feel toned!

Oh, right. Best to check, you could just as easily be 3 weeks post CS / massive tear / whatever Smile

I think I remember you saying on another thread that your BF, is that right? TBH if you are you still need a wee bit of extra weight at this stage, which is why your body holds onto it.

No harm in exercising, obviously, but your body might well insist on holding onto a few extra pounds for a couple more months - it doesn't know that you're not about to end up in a sudden starvation situation and tries to protect your baby for that eventuality IYSWIM. Don't despair, IME it's only the first 4 - 6 months I've had this happen.

I use the Lilia Kopylova Strictly dvds... some of the routines are nice and slow and some more jumpy so you can mix and match - however I have never started them before the 6 week mark and expect to wait about 8 this time just to be sure and stick to lots of walking with baby.

Also google Buggy Fit soemthing you can do with baby.

i have the erin obrien pre/postnatal fitness fix- the postnatal one is very easy going, and also davina pre/postnatal workout, its a bit more challenging but still not too heavy going for a postnatal mama. Smile
