Elcs birthplan?

I'm having an Elcs in 2 weeks and am not sure if I need a birth plan. With my first, I had very clear ideas about what I did and didn't want e.g. my views on pethedine. I felt my plan was really valuable but that was for a 'normal' delivery. With an Elcs I'm not sure what choices I have and whether it's worth doing one. What I do know is that I want skin to skin contact asap but surely I can tell them that? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I had an EMCS in the US and was also strapped down with no skin to skin until about 20 minutes after once I was in recovery. To be honest I didn't even know there were other options although I did know I was upset by what happened as I had a far more natural birth experience in mind. This is all really useful information should my future VBAC plans not work out as hoped.

I'm embarrassed to admit I can't really remember what I did or did not have with my ELCS last year. I know it was brilliant and the anaesthetist took shedloads of lovely pics of me/DP and DD in theatre and I bfd in recovery but that's about it. Ah, the wonders of morphine.
