Rectocele from episiotomy worried about having a second child

I have a rectocele along the stitches of my episiotomy (forcepts delivery). Aside from the emotional issues this has caused since the birth of my lovely daughter 8 months ago, I am worried that the amount of skin between my vagina and rectum is so thin it will tear if I should have a second child? Does anybody have any experience of the above? The gynocologist said 'don't bear down' when he diognosed the prolapse. I said 'but that is all you do in labour.' There was no reply. Can any one help??

How awful for you, I really sympathise. I'm sorry I have no experience of this although I have had a forceps delivery. I would imagine though that you could have an elective caesarian?

I have one too FiFi and it's horrid isn't it

I only have DD and now won't have any others (other reasons)

But I imagine a CS is the best idea
