How can I get an appointment with my consultant?

I had an ELCS with DC1 & a very brief chat with my consulant at about 19 weeks where he told me I'd like to try for a VBAC.

I've now got SPD & am worried that VBAC will make this worse in the long run.

How do I get another appointment with a consultant now to discuss my options?

Thanks!

Are you under consultant care or were you 'discharged' back to your MW? I think you have to ask your MW or GP to refer you back to the consultant depending on what sort of care you are under.

I'm not sure. Not discharged as far as I know, I've had all my regular checks with my mw and a couple of apts with consultant in between. Problem is there's a few consultants doing apts at each clinic so I've not seen the same one at each time.

Ask your midwife arrange it or phone your consultant (secretary) direct (you must still have his name) and book yourself one.
