I had my son on the 3rd of October. Had my first period on the 18th of December, and was expecting a normal cycle to return (is that stupid?) so 4 weeks would have been Saturday. Am I being silly to expect a normal cycle to resume so soon, or should I be taking a test?

I am not breastfeeding.

They will take a while to settle back into a regular cycle ime, but take a test if it'll set your mind at rest.

Thank you, I'm not sure it will, as if it's negative I am not certain I would trust the result, if that makes sense. Think I will give it till weekend then test, might believe it a bit more by then, or af might come along.

After my first my completely regular 28 day cycle returned.... as a 30 day cycle!! After #2 it went back to 28. Now I'm back on the mini pill so have none :)
