Bicornuate Uterus- experiences of labour?

I'm 39 weeks with a bicornuate uterus. Bump is all on one side, but head is fully engaged, so he's lying kind of diagonally. MW thinks he might come out a bit scrunched up!

He's been lying over to one side for the entire pregnancy, and I can't lie on my left, as it's uncomfortable for me, and I think for the bump too.

MW has told me to mention this when I go into the hospital in labour, but wanted to know if anyone else has had similar experiences and how was it managed in labour.

TIA

ended up with emergency c sec-was a nightmare labour and birth-dd oxygen deprived and manhandled led to damage

Please SHOUT loudly and have someone who knows about you do this for you too

do not be 'persuaded' into things that don't feel right for you

good luck x

sorry, but meant to add my second pregnancy /labour /childbirth was so much different as it was better managed by professionals.
pregnancy - more appts, staff knew history, understood my feelings of apprehension
labour - midwife with me didn't leave me for more than 5-10 mins(dh was with me all the time)monitoring continuos at first sign of distress csec prepared
childbirth - c sec but i was awake -much better than first c sec
and helped with recovery

I think there is someone with a bicornuate uterus giving birth naturally on the "one born every minute website". There is a short clip of the birth, all looked fairly normal without any problems. Might be worth a look.

thanks greenbeanie struggling to find the clip though as they all appear to be labelled by the mum's name, rather than the type of labour etc.

don't suppose you remember anything else about it that might help me find it?
