Could anyone recommend a good breastfeeding book?

Yes, I found the The Breastfeeding Mother's Guide to Making More Milk quite good but TBH the best thing was working out how it worked for me and my baby over time (no book ever properly explained how I managed to do it in the end), having a friend who has done it and can show you what to do, and having a whole heap of patience with yourself and the baby. It can be difficult for some, and I think new mums need to go a bit easy on themselves.

Very true, and funny with it!

The Food of Love by Kate Evans is AMAZING! Easy to read, very funny, relaxed, positive and practical. Essential for all mums to be!

Personally! I wouldn't get one. I just confused myself. Find a good BF cafe / group and speak to other mums there. Your HV will have a list.
