Can I delay labour by a day or two?

Woke up this morning with a little, tiny bit of blood on the sheets... Didn't have a show last time so not sure if this means I am really going into labour. Baby due on Monday 1st Sept, would IDEALLY like to hang on until then as if he's born this weekend, he will always be the youngest in his year at school. If this is it, is there anything I can do to delay the onset? Or am I just being daft???? Any tips much welcome!

No advice Cha but if you are anything like me you might not go into labour for a few days yet ... are you having contractions or anything or is this the first sign of anything happening?
I think lots of women have 'shows' days before actually going into labour ... ??
Good luck anyway ....
PS I understand your reasons for not wanting the baby to be born until Monday!

Thanks Ghosty - some people think I'm weird thinking so far ahead into his future! My dp's birthday was yesterday so he's always been the youngest in his year, so he knows what it's like.

As to any other signs - not really. Bit 'period painy' but don't know if that's psychosomatic. I'm going to take it easy anyway, no walking the dog or trawling the shops for last minute babygros!
