Water Birth at PORTLAND london ??

i really want to have the option of a water birth at the portland... i know they only have one pool, but im willing to take the risk. the problem is my current obstetrician does not do them. Can any one recommend a good obstetrician who does water births there ?

Give the labour ward a call and ask. They'll know straightaway who does them. You can also labour in the bath if you want, all rooms are ensuite.

Dr Gibbs is very keen on water births. He practices at the birth centre on Harley Street and I used him last time.

Can't you have a midwife led water birth?
