Late pregnancy, more evening movement...

Hi there

I am 40 +3 and no obvious signs of labour but over the last couple of days I have had a lot more baby movement in the evenings which goes on into the night but then seems to have stopped when I wake up in the morning. Is this just the way it is, maybe the baby moving down gradually?

I am about to go out for someone's birthday meal and feel fine but more pressure on my bladder and in the pelvic area. I'm assuming this could go on for days and I am safe to go out!

I'm 40+6 and that's been going on for a week and a half for me. It may be the last time you can go out for a while. But sod's law and all that... If everything were to kick off tonight, you'd have a great anecdote for later on. Good luck and hope it happens for you soon (but not too soon)!

I am 39+1 and my baby has been very active at night for the past week, in fact she's off again now so i can't sleep.
I was starting to wonder if it was normal for baby to become more active closer to the birth as I would expect her to be less so given there is less room in there.
