Conceived on the pill

Have a lot on my mind tonight!!!

I continued taking the pill for 8 weeks whilst not knowing that i was pregnant Not to mention being on holiday drinking bottles of wine every night! Dr says baby should be fine but obviously wouldnt recommend it. It must happen so often but doesnt stop you worrying. ???

I conceived on the Pill too. Dd3 is absolutely fine, gorgeous,clever, apple of my eye (now 14 months old). Relax and enjoy your pregnancy

Same happened to me. In fact, 2 days before I did a test, I got really pissed on Blackthorn and had a row with DP.

DS is fine and dandy.

another who conceived on the pill - had a manic weekend as well befor eI found out - dd perfectly healthy. Try not to worry some people drink heavily and smoke all through their pregnancy

If this was detrimental, than there would be a lot of unhealthy babies in this world.

I used to work for a company that made the pill. We used to handle any probelms that occured when people were taking them (adverse drug reactions) We were often asked if taking the pill in early pregnancy caused problems and the answer was no. There was no evidence that it caused any affects.

Glad im not the only one. It must be so easy to do.And like you say many people drink heavily throughout.

Took the pill till I was 24wks pregnant as I didn't know. DS2 is 1 on Saturday and fine!

i concieved on the pill and the weekend befor i found out i was so drunk (dont think id ever drank so much) and dd is perfect such a happy wee thing

I conceived whilst on the mini pill and even took the morning after pill. I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was about 12 weeks gone and had been continuing my normal life up until this point - which included, carrying on with the pill, drinking and smoking.

Dd is 5 now and she's fine.

I didn't realise I was pregnant until I was 25 weeks gone with ds1..on the pill the whole time and partying hard...

No problems with the pregnancy or afterwards... Same with my other pregnancies too, although sometimes I have to wonder if that contributed to their naughtiness

Im only messing hun, dont worry ya self about it...seriously

i concieved dd on the pill, and i used to drink a lot the night b4 i did the test i was smashed (probably drank the equivelant to a bottle of vodka) but hasnt done her any harm, shes one next month and a happy healthy well behaved baby!

I was concieved while my mum was on pill. She was absolutely plastered the day before I was born so you know I'm fine! Although some wouldnt agree you'll be fine!
