Should I be getting in the car?!

I know everyone says to wait at home for as long as possible, and I'd really love to but definitely don't want home birth (first baby paranoia)!

Had show yesterday morning, sporadic contractions most of the day which stopped overnight, now are regular at 7 minutes for 1 minute each, and quite intense... this has been going on uncomfortably for several hours... do I have long to wait or should I start the car?!

Go now before you get too uncomforable

Long, intense contractions are a good sign

What do you mean by quite intense? Can you talk or move through them?

It's cold and horrible though - go in and get checked Smile

How far are you from the hospital, and how is the weather where you are? If you are any distance away or there is snow/ ice. I would go now! Exciting! Good luck
