Pink watery discharge? Help!

Am 9 days overdue today, had a pretty crampy night but nothing regular or very different from braxtons I've been having last few days. Woke up this morning and sat up and leaked some pink water, also pink water on wiping - not at all thick like discharge and no jelly - just pink 'water'. Has stopped now. This is second baby but was induced with first and have no idea if this is something I should be worried about or is normal - please advise, feeling worried.

Hi izpie it could be your waters leaking slowly - they are sometimes a bit pink as mized with show.

Maybe give you maternity helpline/midwife a call and they can advise on whether to sit tight and see what happens or if they'll want to check you.

your waters can have a pink tinge to them, so could be a bit of a leak. call the unit and have chat, you might well be getting going.

Hello, thanks for the replies, I think the prospect of imminent birth made me wobble! Not so imminent however as no more leakage, no contractions - oh well induction tomorrow if all else fails!
