how much blood after sweep?

Had a membrane sweep at about half 12 this afternoon - i'm 40+3, how much blood is normal after the sweep?

I've been bleeding since a few hours ago, not lots, just like a light period. The doctor told me to call if there is a lot of blood, he said to expect light spotting - how much would be considered a lot?

I had a membrane sweep with my son and had more than 'light spotting'. It was fairly similar to what you've described - the amount you'd get with a light period.

Yes, I thought that it'd be lighter than it really was. I didn't think I'd need a sanitary towel or anything but there was quite a bit.

With my son I bled ALOT after the sweep, probably heavier than a light period tbh. With dd I didnt bleed at all.
