Hi all,

How long after childbirth could you fit your rings back on your finger?

Thanks

Hi - I waited 9 months after giving birth and then got bored so had my rings resized. By 12 months they were too big and I should have been patient and waited!

With my DTD's I had to take them off at 26 weeks, and had to go up half a size afterwards, got them on after a couple of weeks. This time am almost 37 weeks and still got them on - am using it as a way to judge any swelling - had pre-eclampsia last time. Hoping to keep them on this time.

took them off at about 30 weeks with PE, EMCS at 33.5 weeks, back on about 3 weeks later but tight, back to normal about 3/4 weeks after that I think.

Ok so the fact that I sti haven't comfortably got mine on 5 and a half weeks after my daughter was born isn't quite as terrible as I thought then?! Phew!

The next day - but that's the one up side for being ill for 8 months of your pregnancy and therefore being the slimmest you've ever been since you were about 21!!

I don't own either - but gave birth while wearing lots of rings and only took them off a week later when I got worried about scratching DS' little face with them. I also remember buying a new watch a few days after he was born as my then-watch was a big clunky metal one on a metal bracelet and (again) I was worried about bashing him with it.
