Just trying to prepare for when the time comes - any suggestions?

We used Addison Lee (3 weeks ago). The driver was great - we didn't warn him beforehand, I just waddled out of the front door carrying an empty car seat and waterproof mat explaining that my waters hadn't broken yet, and he was completely unfazed. Took the back route to avoid traffic on the Euston Road (baby was born at UCH) and went very slowly over speed bumps - so I can recommend them.
