Will St Thomas, London do an ELCS?

I went to Kings for my first birth - ELCS on the NHS. I am now pregnant again and want another ELCS - does anyone know if St Thomas will do them on the NHS?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

think once you've had a cs, most hospitals will let you express a preference for one second time around?

was at st thomas for both mine - and although i was prepared to give labour a go after cs first time, my birth plan was quite clear - was not prepared to be induced and if labour hadn't started 24 hours after waters went, then wanted an elcs.

i got one.

but - worth expressing any preferences right from the outset -don't think there are any hard and fast guarantees in all of this?

hatsy - thank you. Would you recommend St Thomas for ante and post natal care? Were you happy with your c-section?

had superb antenatal care both times - midwife team were lovely.

postnatally i was on the ward first time - not ideal as 4 beds in a room and v noisy. same gripes as any nhs ward really.

treated myself to the lansdell suite second time around - different world - but v pricey....

c sections both done on the nhs and both went v smoothly - care was wonderful both times.
